This kit is used to determine the iron content in plant water and drinking water from 0.01 mg/lt (ppm) and up to 15 ppm. The level may be higher in plant water where there is corrosion from formation of Iron oxides such as Rust or Magnetite (protective oxides ) or FeO (incoherent oxides). Iron-containing drinking water is not harmful to health but tastes bad and can leave residue (stains) so an appropriate WL series filter is required.
Colorimetric type test, very easy to use with the appropriate reagent. In three minutes following the procedure, the coloration is obtained to be compared with the proper scale.
