WL-FILMAT HOT RAH

The WL-FILMAT HOT RAH filter is designed with innovative solutions in the efficiency of the cartridge's self-cleaning system by backwashing to ensure high particle removal from the washable 90-micron wire mesh cartridge. When the cartridge needs to be cleaned, the backwash cleaning operation is simply triggered by the opening of the drain ball valve at the bottom of the filter. This operation causes a pressure drop that pushes the cartridge down to the bottom of the container and reverses the flow of water from the inside to the outside of the cartridge. It is this countercurrent flow that cleans and sends the impurities trapped on the outer surface of the cartridge to the drain. WL-FILMAT HOT RAH is equipped with a drain funnel, a device for protection against drinking water pollution in plumbing systems, designed to prevent backflow pollution, in compliance with European standard UNI EN 1717 of November 2002, making it suitable for heating systems as well as domestic hot water. This device prevents backflow by venting all elements downstream of the drain valve to the atmosphere.
